It certainly can't be because you check it regularly, because no person handle that much disappointment.

The truth is, as much I enjoyed doing this blog, I found that it became a very confused process. I've tried using it to be funny. I've tried using it to be inspirational. I've even tried using it to be personal. At times it worked great, and at times it was a struggle.

At the end of it all, I stopped updating because I never knew who I was talking to. I was never sure what it was that people came here to read. So I killed it. I neglected it like an unloved goldfish, and nature eventually took its course.

I still like doing all the things that I was using this blog for, but now I am going about it a different way.

If you want to just read my stupid silly ramblings or keep up with my personal goings on, you can friend me on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/therealjimblack).

If you are interested in what is going on in the Kids Ministry of Horizons Church check out http://horizonskids.blogspot.com/.

Thanks for spending your time here.

-Jim

Jogvan Bjorn

Greetings, all: Mikki here for another guest posting.

--------------------------------------------

I first found out about Jogvan (pronounced yek-vun) while I was visiting the blogs of other women who are part of an online group called SITS. I found him on Shinta's blog. Inspired by the Flat Stanley projects, she decided to start a ministry in which a small bear would travel the world, eventually making his way to a child in need.

Jogvan is on his way to Australia, to a little girl named Vienna. As he travels, Shinta keeps tabs on him on her blog. The posts so far show him in Torshavn, Faroe Islands; Klaksvic, Faroe Islands; Vaasa, Finland; Lucern, Switzerland; and Stans, Switzerland. Now he is here with us, and he will soon be moving on.

Thank you all for praying for Vienna!
