I shouldn't blog on Mondays

It turns out that I have nothing interesting to say on Mondays.  After all the business of the weekend, my mind is... it's... um... (sigh).  I can't even come up with something funny to say.  My brain is too useless to create a funny way to say how useless it is.  Pathetic, really.

Prior to Sunday, I had lots of good ideas to write about.  So many terribly important things to say.  Now, nothing.

Oh well.  This week should be pretty great, capped off by an awesome Sunday.  In honor of Valentines Day, I'm going to be preaching to the kids about Jesus' love for us.  Speaking of Valentines Day, there's a good chance that my wife will forget about it, so please nobody mention it to her.  There's no sense in getting her hopes up.  Poor girl...

Of course, the week should be great leading up to Sunday.  Tomorrow we get to vote, which is pretty cool.  I'm glad that our primary still means something this late in the year.  Plus Thursday, besides being the holiday that we are not mentioning, is the day that the Detroit Tigers' pitchers and catchers report to spring training.  I am giddy.

I hope you have a great week, and if I ever come up with something clever to write about, I'll try to update this thing again.
