bored

I haven't been posting much this summer because I just don't have anything interesting to talk about. Everybody is on vacation, so my adventures are minimal, and my deep thoughts are nil.

Today, I am working from home while some guy repairs my TV. We've been having trouble with it all summer, and this is the 4th time he's been here since June. College football starts this weekend, so I really need it to be fixed.

So, I'm bored. It's just me, the dog, and the repairman. Not the best work environment. It turns out that even though I love quiet and don't usually long to be around other people, I accomplish more in a crowded office than I do alone. Just when I think I figured out how God wired me, I find something that just doesn't seem to fit. Consequently, I think the repair guy just had the same problem with the TV. Lovely.

I hope you have a great Labor Day weekend. Pray for me as I do my fantasy football draft this Sunday night. I have to beat my brother and three pastors this year, because the people who are supposed to be the kindest to you rarely are. I can take another year of their harassment.
