Horizons is a busy place for a Kids Pastor. We have a lot going on each week, and it takes many great people to match my ridiculous standards. I want to make sure that there is no better place for a kid to be on any given Sunday in Stafford.

I am blessed to be able to work with amazing individuals who love kids enough to deal with my leadership, and all its shortcomings. It is such an honor to work with people who are better than me. All of them have sacrificed countless hours to make sure that the kids of Stafford have a chance to hear about Jesus.

Out of all the adults and teens that attend our church every week, 20% are members of a Kids Ministry team. I don't think I have enough hours in my life to tell that many people just how awesome they are. Hopefully they'll read this!

Of course, I do ask for your pity, because today is the day that I have to put my schedules together. 50+ people who all have summer plans and are in need of valuable rest. I have to find a way to keep them all happy. In fact, I'm typing now because the blank schedules were making my eyes hurt.

But, it is well worth the sacrifice to have such a great crew of volunteers. Oh well, back to work.
